Application FAQ

What is Tesla’s application process?
Students and their parents fill out an online application and indicate to their guidance counselor the desire to enroll in Tesla. The application can be found on the Tesla website here.

What if I live outside the Appleton Area School District?
Those students who live outside the AASD have the option to open-enroll into the AASD and
become students at both Appleton East and Tesla.

Those students who choose to maintain their enrollment in a district other than the AASD will be limited to taking two credits per year within the AASD, including Tesla. The two-credit limit is a state-imposed open-enrollment rule.

Open enrollment information can be found on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website.
