FIRST LEGO League Camp
For students going into grades 4 - 6. Whether you’ve been on an FLL team in the past, are considering being on a team in the future or just enjoy creating with LEGOs, this camp is for you. Using the
brand new LEGO EV3 Robotics kit, students will participate in robotic challenges throughout the week.
Based on FIRST LEGO League’s (www.usfirst.org) past and present competitions, the FLL Camp is a great way to learn teamwork, robotic design, and programming in a fun, exciting atmosphere where anything goes and creativity is the name of the game.
Each class involves different challenges with different levels of difficulty.
Camps run three hours per day for one week and are held at Appleton East High School in the Tesla Engineering
Charter School facilities. Select from the dates/times below.

Summer STEAM Camp
(science, technology, engineering, art & math)
Designed for budding young inventors and
those who like to take things apart to see
how they work, tinker and create, this
week-long camp will introduce participants
to the excitement and innovation of
engineering and design. Through a series
of hands-on, mind-challenging activities,
students learn how to make ideas come to
life. Participants will learn about the design process, engage
in several destructive design challenges, and create projects to take with them at the end of the camp. (Enrollment
limited to 34 students -
only 6th - 9th grade)

VEX Robotics Camp
Think. Create. Build. Amaze. VEX!
Using VEX Robotics kits (like an
Erector set on steroids!), students
will learn to build and program a robot to compete in
this year’s VEX Robotics Competition. Working in
teams, students will use the structural
elements and mechanisms to create a
fully functioning, remote-controlled robot. Both head-to-head and team based challenges add thrills and fun to
an already exciting class.
