Nicholas German

Mr. German joined the Tesla Engineering team in 2003. He brings an unprecedented level of enthusiasm to the the school and is inspiring students to achieve their potential both in and out of the classroom. His support for our students is unquestionable and he has made himself a tremendous asset to Tesla.

Mr. German is a 2002 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Education. He also received a masters degree from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse. Mr. German began his teaching career with the Appleton Area School District in 2002.

Paul Weisse

2017 is Mr. Weisse's 7th year at East High School as an Associate Principal and 6th year as Principal of Tesla Engineering Charter School. He started his career teaching math at Menasha St. Mary’s High School, and through the years also taught math at Fond du Lac, Kimberly, Appleton North and Appleton East high schools for a total of 17 years teaching math.  

Mr. Weisse also served as the Math Program Leader in Appleton for six years while teaching. He started his administrative career as associate principal at Wilson Middle School for three years before coming over to East.

He is happily married for over 25 years and has four children, three of which have graduated from East, with the youngest a current sophomore at East. Mr. Weisse earned his math teaching degree from UW-Oshkosh, and earned a Masters in Educational Leadership from Marian University.
