Tesla on FOX 11's Good Day WisconsinJustin Steinbrink of WLUK FOX 11's Good Day Wisconsin spent the morning learning about Tesla and all the great projects our students are involved in.  Justin learned about the NEW Apple Corps Robotics Team and this year's challenge, Power Up.  He also toured the Plexus Manufacturing Lab at Tesla and learned about a group of seniors who received a Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam grant to solve a fuel source problem for the Village of Hope in Zambia, Africa.  Finally, Justin heard a bit about how Tesla impacts student's academic, personal, and career planning.

Mentioned on the program were several upcoming events related to Tesla.

On Monday, February 5th at 6:30pm, in room 1406 of Appleton East High School, Tesla will host an enrollment information session for any future students and their families.  Come learn about all Tesla has to offer.

On February 7th at 6:00pm, our Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam will present their mid-year review in the auditorium at Appleton East.  They will be discussing their project and the progress they've made so far.

Finally, on February 23rd (6:30pm to 8:30pm) and February 24th (1:30pm to 3:30pm), the NEW Apple Corps Robotics Team will host a community open house to show off their latest creation, designed to play this year's FIRST Robotics Competition game, Power Up!

It's an exciting time to be a Tesla student and a member of the NEW Apple Corps Robotics Team.  We can't wait to show you what we've been up to!
